Lunch at Carbon & Salt Taco Shop
Details
Join us for a casual but very tasty lunch at Carbon & Salt. They have a walk up counter to order, and the food is brought to your table. The tacos are served on a street sized corn or flour tortilla, with many options of fillings. I have posted some pictures below.
Carbon & Salt Taco Shop opened in February of 2024, and is owned by childhood best friends and business partners Manuel Aldecoa and Gilberto Trujillo. They bring their experience from Ta'Carbon to this new upscale taco venture. They specialize in Sonoran style carne asada cooked over mesquite charcoal. I tried the Al Pastore Taco and the Quesabirria. The Al Pastore was delicious and tender, and the Birria sause was some of the best I've tasted in a long time. They have a nice salsa bar which offers pico de guillo, various salsas, guacamole, onions, carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, lemons, and limes.
They don't take reservations, but I will get there early to get us some tables. We will need to be seated at two separate tables.
