The I-380 Data Professionals meeting has been rescheduled for October 26, 2022 starting at 17:30 CDT (22:30 UTC). This meeting is 100% virtual, there will be no public, in-person meeting.
This meeting was originally scheduled for October 11, 2022.
We will meet to network and socialize at 17:30 CDT. There will be some announcements and possibly discussion of the Data Summit in Seattle in November.
H. Ross Reed will provide our technical presentation at 18:00 CDT (23:00 UTC).
Title: DBATools : Migrating Database Servers
Abstract: Times past SQL Server Instances were migrated using various scripts and checklists. While Checklists are always a good idea DBATools has made it easier using a few commands.
Bio: H. Ross Reed is a Lead Database Administrator for the Options Clearing Corp. He has been a database administrator for over 20 years. He’s Co-Organizer of the Chicago Data Professionals User Group, and a frequent presenter.
