Subject: Cemetery Bike Ride & River Oaks Bike Rides
We will meet at 8:00 am at the Onion Creek Cafe at 3106 White Oak Dr in the Heights. We will start at 8.15 am and our first stop will be the Hollywood Cemetery on North Main. From there we will bike towards the Glenwood Cemetery to see where Howard Hughes is buried. We will also see some famous tombstones at this location. If there is an active burial that day, we will not be admitted.
Next we will proceed to Founders Cemetery on Dallas Avenue. The Founders Cemetery is the site of the original founders of Houston, the Allen Brothers. We will see tombstones over a hundred fifty years old.
Then we will cycle towards to one of the oldest black cemeteries in Houston on Dallas Avenue. Then we will proceed to a Jewish cemetery on Allen Parkway. From there we will bike back towards the Onion Creek Cafe and should be back around 11.30 in time to go see the Texans play at noon.
The total distance should be under 20 miles at a pace of around 10 miles per hour. We will not leave anyone behind. Hope you can make it. Those who desire can have lunch afterwards.

Let''s take a look at those fancy schmancy houses! Maybe if we pool our money together we can rent a room!
We will bike around River Oaks and stare at the beautiful mansions. Then we will bike towards Tanglewood and also see the great homes there.
We will bike between 10 to 12 mph and the total distance will be 18 miles and the ending time will be around 12 noon. Please be sure your bike is functional as we will not be able to do any repairs.
