Ottawa Big Data + HUG Meetup

Welcome to the 1st combined meetup of the Ottawa Big Data Enthusiasts and the Ottawa Hadoop User Group (HUG)! Since there's a significant overlap in technologies (and personalities) between groups, we've decided to join forces. This month we'll be meeting at CanvasPop for two presentations:

• Greg Dorval and Alex Proulx will be talking about their Big Data startup based in Ottawa

• Alan Gardner will be presenting about workflow management in Hadoop and how to productionize your ad-hoc ingestion and processing

Presentations will begin at 7:30, with discussion and networking before and after.
