London Public Speakers Free Monday Meetup

Learn all the skills you need to speak with confidence and become the speaker that others look forward to listening to! This group meets IN PERSON every Monday evening at 18:45 (for a 19:00 pm start) to practice delivering speeches and speaking on impromptu topics.

Meet us at The Shipwrights Arms, next to London Bridge Station on Tooley St, we are in the upstairs event space. We’d recommend coming at least 15 minutes early to ensure your on time and meeting the group.

Our club members are a mix of levels and we welcome guests of every level to join us too! Whether the very thought of speaking in public fills you with fear, or if you love standing up to speak in front of a crowd, you will learn something new by attending our meetings.

While we can learn some tips and tricks about delivering speeches from watching talks or reading books, it is by practising and delivering speeches regularly that we learn to master the art of public speaking.

As the leading weekly public speaking club in London, we have an average attendance of 45 encouraging and supportive members and guests each week. That's a lot of people to learn from in a fun and friendly environment!

There is no fee to attend any of our meetings as a guest and absolutely no obligation to join. You can also join as many meetings as you want to as a guest. You will not be called upon to speak during the meeting unless you wish to do so.

When you decide to join, a full year’s membership of our club is just £168 plus a one-off payment of £30 to Toastmasters International which pays for all your speech manuals and a monthly magazine.
