For thousands of years, cacao has been cultivated in Central America for its beneficial health compounds. On a physical level, cacao is a superfood. Energetically, cacao is a powerful plant medicine that allows us to see and experience life from the frequency of the heart. If there is something just underneath the surface, cacao may open your ability to access it. With the help of cacao, it is not uncommon for people to cry, laugh, dance, sing, or receive insight.

After drinking cacao, we will drop into a soundscape that weaves gongs, tibetan singing bowls, alchemical crystal bowls (quartz mixed with crystals and healing minerals), voice, drums, chimes, and other shamanic instruments.

Separately, cacao and sound are incredibly healing medicines. Together, they co-create deeply somatic insights and experiences that heal on all levels -- physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

Cacao increases blood flow to the heart and brain, sensitizing you to the effects of sound. With your heart and senses open, you become present to the sound and the vibrations allowing you to open up to deeper layers of your being. Come ready to enjoy, relish, and savor your experience, whatever it may be.

Micah Sheiner is a vibrational artist/healer. In Nepal he trains in Himalayan sound healing - Bon Po and Buddhist practices of singing bowls, gongs, and bells. In Europe he apprentices in Gong Mastery and Gong Yoga. Micah explores sacred sound through bowls, gongs, voice, didgeridoo, native percussion, and a variety of shamanic instruments. He weaves these into resonant soundscapes for healing, meditation, yoga, and journeying. He conducts sound baths, workshops, individual sessions, and performances in California and internationally.

Lemiece Zarka stumbled upon sound healing through yoga and rekindled her lifelong love affair with vibration that started in choir as a child. Sound is her greatest teacher and deepest refuge. She loves how easy it is for people to experience different frequencies of consciousness and receive the healing wisdom of sound. She weaves mantra, heart songs, alchemical crystal bowls, gongs, harmonium, and breathwork into her offerings. She also leads kirtan, teaches Kundalini Yoga, and manages Seventh Chakra Yoga in Huntington Beach and Placentia.
