Camping, Kayaking Instruction sessions with Seabirds and/or Kayaking Sunset Bay

KAYAK TRAINING ON SUNDAY IS CLOSED. OPENED NEW EVENT ON FRIDAY FOR KAYAK TRAINING AT 11 AM.

I reserve a kayak instructor for Memorial Weekend on Friday and Sunday. Race events for SUPs and Kayaks/canoes on Saturday. Please come join me as I plan to do some camping, hiking , biking and kayaking at Evangola State Park, http://nysparks.com/parks/91/details.aspx.

Sign up for camping and/or kayaking. Im on campsite 072 for 3 days. Campsites filling up fast.

You will get a discount of $50 for this kayak trainining session, 1-1/2 hrs. Andrea has offered to take us on a nature tour of Sunset Bay after lunch. This is a GREAT opportunity to go beyond the basics in your kayak skills. Seabirds kayaking instructor, Andrea, holds certifications in the following; ACA Level 3 Coastal Kayaking, British Canoe Union Level 2 Kayak Coach, Wilderness First Aid, NYS Guide, and CPR. There is limited space for those who wish to have a kayak session with Andrea. Please view the kayaking session instructions below.

You can use your own kayaks or rent a seakayak for $25.00. Talk to Andrea. I will have 2 of my kayaks with me but I actually will be testing a seakayak. Andrea has universal skirt decks to fit your kayaks if you want to do some other skills. I want her to do some self rescues and assist rescues skills in addition to other skills in paddling. If you don't want to get wet, there will be others there that will and you can watch.
