Bionicman aka Michel Fornasier shows his bionic hand. Michel was born without his right hand. Today he's wearing a high-tech bionic hand-prosthesis. This high-tech hand has changed his life. "It is a personal concern of mine to increase the visibility of this novel tool to reach as many people with the same handicap and make their lives easier. I would like to show what is possible today in the field of robotics, break taboos and build a bridge between people with and without disabilities."
His visit is part of the upcoming strategy to establish the technology of bionics in Fablabs. The transfer of knowledge and involvement in the charity sector should enable all people to actively engage with bionics and help to advance the technology. The active charity projects help people with handicaps to live a better life.
Everybody is welcome!
