Blockchain Build Night #2 (For Developers)

We're back again for our 2nd Blockchain Build Night of 2018! Each build night (once per month), someone will teach something they've learned to do in Solidity or a blockchain language of their choice. Hopefully, whatever s/he teaches will help all of us build out our own blockchain "dapps" (decentralized applications). However, the point of the meetup is to come to learn blockchain coding on your own or in groups and build your own projects with fellow developers who are also interested in the technology.

This time, we will watch BDEU member, John Austin, go through the basics of the Truffle framework. (Hint: Truffle is to Solidity what Rails is to Ruby). If you aren't already familiar with Solidity and Truffle, I suggest you look them over before attending this build night.

The ultimate goal over time is to code together and learn the basics of creating simple contracts, deploying contracts, using various platforms and frameworks like Truffle which make it easy to create projects on the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
