• Guide to decoupling your applications from your infrastructure - Nicolas Corrarello

So you have on prem / off prem / multi-cloud, or ultimately you'd like to leverage the possibility to consume infrastructure everywhere. You will probably find yourself going through a couple of issues. I know because while building one of our internal applications I went through this challenges myself.
This will be the story of Jamo, an internal application we built, under the premise of what the world of infrastructure looks like today.

• Automating infrastructure: playing factorio on AWS - Ricardo Marques

This talk will cover how you can deploy a Factorio server to AWS in an affordable and yet scalable way (so you can play long nights with as many friends as you want).
It will explore common Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform as well as AWS specific products like EC2 Spot Instances, Lambda and API Gateway.
Most importantly, it'll show how all of them fit together.
Bonus: code will be open source for you to play with!
