Nelson Tech Talks is a monthly event for anyone in Nelson running an online business or with an interest in the digital, creative or web industry. All welcome.

The topic is the web—with a focus on tech, UX/UI, business, SEO, development processes….

This month we have Lenz Gschwendtner.

Lenz will be talking about Startup Weekend, what it is, why it is more than a hackathon, but not quite a business coaching event.

A bit about how Startup Weekend influences the startup scene in New Zealand and maybe a few fun stories from previous events in New Zealand.

Lenz has been part of Startup Weekends in New Zealand since they started here and is part of the mentor team that travels around the country to support ideas in every corner of New Zealand.

He is also a co-founder of iwantmyname, a globally successful domain registrar and co-founder of springtimesoft, a consulting company operating locally and overseas.

He also recently moved to Nelson Lakes.
