The Wim Hof method is a practice that includes breath work, physical exercise, meditation, and (most importantly) cold exposure to achieve uncanny feats of control over one's body, including the body's ability to regulate internal temperature, the body's ability to heal and fight infection, and has also been shown to ward off depression.

As full of hyperbole as this sounds, this is scientific fact that is being studied again and again with results being reliably reproduced.

Wim Hof himself holds 20 world records, including the world's longest ice bath. He has also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts and no shirt, run a marathon in the Arctic circle at temperatures around -20 degrees celcius, and much more.

All of the feats that he accomplished were due to the methods he practices and not due to any genetic differences. He wants to share his knowledge with the world, and this meetup is to spread the word further amongst the community in Toronto.
