Hiya Twidgits!

Congrats! You now own a Miller Wildcat 200 AMP [edit correction Miller Legend 225AMP] Welding Machine/Generator.

It's oldish, and hasn't been run for three months, and is currently gravity-welded to the bed of the truck. It masses about 350lb [edit correction 575lb], so having a few folks to assist with the off-loading might be a good idea. We were also given a steel cart (there is another 90lb for you) to ride it around on.

We will likely take the sill off of the doorway (helps sweeping up too) to be able to roll it in out of the rain, and roll it out (and roll other stuff out) to actually use. We will be going over the ignition system, draining and filling the tank and carb, and firing it off for a test run...before making a list of other things it may need, like a new battery. It comes with Stinger and ground cables.

We probably have (ok, I probably have) a TIG stinger and a flowmeter for doing stainless and finer artsy-type welding. If anyone has a self-owned argon bottle floating around they may wish to donate...or any other welding consumables, safety gear, clamps, or nice practice material, please bring it by and throw it on the pot. In the meantime, start dreaming up uses for the thing!

First SMAW welding class to be announced soon!
