**ZEROSPACE: *Volumetric filmmaking as an evolution of virtual production***

**Description / Bio:**
Volumetric video captures actors in full 3D, recording appearance as well as movement and presence. While virtual production digitized our sets, volumetric capture digitizes our talent, opening up a new kind of filmmaking where directors can build, frame, and light their shots with the flexibility of CG while retaining the authenticity of the original performance.

Jon Kreutzer is the founder and CEO of ZeroSpace. Xuelong Mu is the Technical Director at ZeroSpace, leading technical strategy and execution across client and R&D projects.

**SILVIA RUEDA**
**Creative Director at VMI Studio**
Silvia Rueda is a Creative Director at VMI Studio, part of Journey, leading storytelling, concept development, and visual direction for immersive films, web experiences, Unreal Engine projects, and animations. With a background in architecture, real-time technology, and art, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to large-scale urban web projects and workshops.

Previously, she founded Understory Studio, creating XR art installations and architectural experiences, including a large-scale piece at Burning Man 2024. Before that, she led the immersive media team at Heatherwick Studio, integrating real-time tech into architectural design and bringing projects like Little Island to life through innovative storytelling and gameplay experiences in Fortnite.

**GEOFFREY BELL**
**SHoP Architects – Senior Associate, AIA**
Geoffrey is an Architect and Senior Associate at SHoP, where he specializes in digital delivery, computational design and emerging technology, leading the office’s research and development efforts in spatial computing, digitization and artificial intelligence, along with offsite manufacturing and mission-critical projects. He has worked on numerous mixed-use and cultural projects, including the Botswana Innovation Hub in Gaborone, the Hudson’s Site development in Detroit, the American Copper Buildings in New York City, and Benchmark Innovation Labs in Pennsylvania. Geoffrey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kentucky, and Master of Architecture from Columbia University, where he has held positions in both academia and exhibitions design and has spoken at design and technology conferences internationally, including ENR FutureTech, D2 Vienna, and NVIDIA GTC.

**MENGYI FAN**
**SHoP Architects – Director of Visualization**
Mengyi has worked in multiple roles of expertise in the architectural field with a focus on the New York metropolitan area, ranging from lighting design for major infrastructural projects to creating exhibitions that utilize social media as a design tool. At SHoP Architects, Mengyi has played a role in almost every project at the firm, working closely with partners to use visualization and emerging technology as design tools to realize SHoP’s architectural vision. Notable projects include the American Copper Buildings and 111 W57th Street in New York, Uber’s new headquarters in San Francisco, and Detroit Hudson’s downtown revival. She is also a co-organizer of 3DNY, working together with architecture, visualization, and VFX studios to promote diversity and facilitate conversations among different fields.
