GAMESMASH Playtesting Night!

GAMESMASH - The Game Design & Fabrication Challenge is a hackathon-style event where teams compete against each other to create and produce the best tabletop game that you can given limited time and surprise constraints!

Presented by Ultimaker (https://ultimaker.com/) and MakerOS (https://makeros.com/), GAMESMASH will be two days of teams of 3 - 6 people designing and making a tabletop game at Fat Cat Fab Lab (http://www.fatcatfablab.org/), a makerspace located in the West Village neighborhood of New York, NY. With a number of fabrication methods at their disposal including 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and CNC milling, they'll have a wide range of directions to go in. But let's hope they don't get too comfy - we'll be throwing some curveballs at them in the form of what tools or materials theyneed to use to get the job done!

Once all is said and done, you're invited to join us on Playtesting Night, where you can try out the games and see them be tested by a panel of judges who are game designers or experts themselves.

Playtesting Night is August 18th, starting at 7 PM with doors at 6:30. If you are already member of a team you DO NOT need to get tickets to Playtesting Night, but you do need to buy tickets by going to: http://bit.ly/GS2016playtesting
