This week we'll be discussing the relationships between measurement, entanglement, locality and determinism. Von Neumann makes an appearance. We'll also discuss the representation of a spin-j state as the symmetrized tensor product of 2j spin-1/2's which encodes the constellation "holographically" in the entanglement between the spin-1/2's. This will lead us naturally to a discussion of the Clebsch-Gordan decomposition, with visuals to boot.
