Gay Men in Midlife Therapy Group (Ages 40-60)

Allow yourself to feel connected to other gay men in your community by becoming a member of the Gay Men in Midlife Therapy Group.

Do you sometimes feel as if you are less relevant to the gay community simply because you over 40? Are you feeling a bit stuck in your life path? Do you have trouble establishing or managing relationships? Joining the Gay Men in Midlife Therapy Group will provide a safe space for you to explore these issues, and more, in the company of those who are facing similar issues, helping you to realize that what you are experiencing is normal and universal.

Issues to be explored in group:

• Feelings of isolation

• Trouble meeting men

• Fears of never having true intimacy or having to settle

• Effects of HIV/AIDS on your life course

• Where you stand in your personal life and/or career - Relationship struggles

• Internalized homophobia leading to lower self-esteem and negative life choices

• Sexual concerns

The group will meet every Monday in Montclair (6:15pm - 7:45pm) and the fee is $60 per session.
