Star Wars API Code-along!

Ever wondered who manufactured the Death Star or how tall Luke Skywalker is? Wonder no more!

During this code along, we'll harness the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to get live data back from the Star Wars API! Students will walk away having built a fully functional search app that will explore the most unnecessary Star Wars details. All skill levels welcome, just bring a laptop!

This code-along will be lead by Project Shift's instructors.

We'll be hosting this event in our offices in the Durham Centre Plaza!

There are two ways to enter the building that are important to note, as the main floor is not on the street level.

1. If you choose to park or walk into the Durham Centre Garage (free after 7pm), you can take elevators to the “PL” Floor. You step outside onto a patio, exit the elevators to the left and enter the building main doors. Then you can step into the lobby, walk to the building elevators and come to Floor 12.

2. You can also take a staircase from the street level up three flights and walk through the patio to the building main doors. Then you can step into the building lobby, walk to the building elevators and come to Floor 12.
