3Dcamp VR - with Cordula Hansen and Camille Donegan James Corbett

December's meetup doubles as our Xmas party so we're delighted to be revealing our expansive new Altspace venue, built by VR designer, artist and developer - Cordula Hansen[1]. Cordula will be giving a tour of the venue, and explaining the construction, and the challenges of creating custom content for AltspaceVR.

Our second speaker is Camille Donegan, creative director of Solas VR[2], who will share the Solas VR journey, from receiving private investment just before lockdown, to adapting production workflows for remote content creation, and next steps for marketing and selling the product. Solas VR is a new virtual reality application delivered on both high end (Oculus/Pico) VR Headsets and people's own phones (Android/iOS), working with a generic VR headset. The app content incorporates Guided Meditation, Storytelling and Breathing Techniques while completely immersing you in stunning cinematic 360 scenes of Ireland including Glendalough Lake, Powerscourt Waterfall and Sacred Sites.
