The summer rains commence in November and four months of isolated thunder showers, which are common to this region, fill what would be dry pans for the rest of the year. The vegetation is dense and alive, the grass is with seed, the ecosystem is abuzz with life in all forms - and with that - the birdlife is in abundance, not only with regards to the many local residents, but more so the incredible diversity of migrants who travel to this region to display themselves in breeding plumage and raise their young.

This very unique Safari has been meticulously planned by our team with the understanding that the focus for this trip will be to provide an incredible introduction and experience to not only the birdlife, but the region as a whole and ecosystems on offer.

The Safari starts off on the northern boundary between Botswana and the Caprivi region of Namibia. The Chobe River, renowned for so many things but more particularly as a habitat for a diversity of birdlife, is the key starting point for this wonderful adventure. For any traveler visiting Botswana, Savuti is a must and we are happy to include two very precious nights within the Savuti area on this safari. This journey of discovery will then culminate in two key destinations combined in one stop - the well known Moremi Game Reserve and, key to the whole experience, the 1000th UNESCO World Heritage site, The Okavango Delta....
