Dinner at Uptown Tavern in Hillcrest (w/ Option of Going Elsewhere Afterwards)

Hi Ladies -

Thanks to those of you who made it out to Cabrillo! I had a lot of fun and was a great first visit for me! I look forward to exploring the other side in the near future!

So, our next group event for May will be dinner at Uptown Tavern ([Uptown Tavern - Uptown Tavern (uptowntavernsd.com)](https://uptowntavernsd.com/) in Hillcrest at 7pm on Friday, May 12th (fun fact: this will actually be the date of my three-year anniversary here in SD but definitely wasn't the reasoning behind the scheduling of this, nor did I realize it at the time -lol)…

Anyway, the link above will provide you with more details about the venue and includes the dinner menu as well. I have also posted a lot of additional photos below. I'm leaving it open, but if some might be interested in going elsewhere (ie: Gossip Grill) after dinner, that is definitely an option.

A dinner reservation was made at 5pm on Friday, May 5th. I was informed at that time that Uptown Tavern is only able to accommodate a maximum number of 22 guests per party. As a result, the first 22 who responded to this event - and everyone who RSVPed by the specified cutoff date & time - will be covered.

The others have been notified that they are on the waitlist but will also be encouraged to check this page regularly for cancellations, which would allow more interested ladies to attend for dinner.

More event-specific details were sent out the morning of Monday, May 8th to those who had indicated that they would be attending this event for dinner this Friday at Uptown Tavern by that time.

Since we are currently over capacity for dinner, if you have marked yourself as “attending” but this changes at any point from now until the time of the event, please change your RSVP here. Again, this will also help me greatly in knowing if the women currently on the waitlist will be able to be accommodated for dinner or not.

That said, you're always free to take my cell (202-760-5659) and try to meet up with us at Gossip Grill afterwards with an approximate arrival time of 8:30/9pm. We are most likely going to be a fairly large number of non-hetero women so probably shouldn't be impossible to spot either.

Looking ahead to future group monthly events:

-June: Lunch at Rockin' Baja Lobster (Mexican food) & then daytime exploration of the top attractions/spots in Old Town. This group event will be scheduled for either the afternoon of Saturday/ Sunday, June 16th/17th or Saturday/Sunday, June 23rd/24th (approximate time: 1-4pm)

July: I know that the Pride parade & festival are Saturday, July 15th. I'm not going to plan any event for this, since a large group would be too difficult to coordinate and manage.

I do have several other commitments already for July, so I may or may not schedule something for the last weekend of the month, which would be either Saturday/Sunday, July 29th/30th, but that is TBD for now. If not, I will definitely shoot for early August.

Anyway, I hope many of you will be interested and able to make our May monthly group event for dinner at Uptown Tavern at 7pm on Friday, May 12th with the option of going elsewhere (Gossip Grill) in Hillcrest afterwards.
