Welcome to 2014! We are starting the year off with some great stuff for you to use...

This meeting will be in two parts:

1. Ross Albertson is planning to demo a grab-bag of Go tricks: a simple example of threading, a chatroom demo, and some ideas for web architecture. If you have not seen what Google's Go can do, this will be a great way for you to see it in action!

As usual, we will have pizza provided by our sponsor (Practice Velocity) and will have some awesome training to give away from our sponsor (Pluralsite); please keep our group's sponsors in mind when needing training, tooling, or employment, and please RSVP so we can get an idea of how much pizza we will need.

Of course, this meeting is free to attend - and free parking is ample and available. The venue has VERY easy access from I-90 via the IL-173/West Lane Road exit from the North/South/East or from IL-251 from the North/South/West. See you there!
