Details
At the heart of GraphQL is the treasure map of all the data across your organization. That map is called the Schema and this month we will discuss how to research, plan, and build a schema that can power your organization and all of its applications. This is a great talk for both developers and the people who lovingly/begrudgingly work with us.
The workshop will focus around building custom types, scalars, ENUMs, and inputs for our GraphQL server and leveraging some opensource ones from npm as well.
All of our meetups follow this format:
- 30 minute presentation
- 30 minute Q&A / discussion with food
- 1 hour hands-on coding workshop

If you plan on doing the workshop, please come with a laptop, text editor, and GitHub account so you can clone our sample code and follow along.
If you only want to come for the free food and discussion, there is no need to bring anything but yourself.
