2/28: Hi all, I am not sure if this event will be happening today or not. I am not leading this hike and per the hike leaders, "It probably will be cancelled but that will depend on if its raining or not. People can look out their window Saturday morning and see what’s happening." Right now (8am 2/28) the skies in NoHo are almost sunny but with some grey clouds lurking, and knowing that rain is predicted for some time today, I myself am hesitant to drive out to Simi and risk the rain. So, I will not be going but you all are definitely free to decide for yourselves if you want to go or not. Have a good day! -S

2/26 **UPDATE** Rain is predicted for this weekend so if it rains on Saturday, this event will be cancelled. I will post updated notices as we get closer, and will definitely post one early Saturday a.m. whether we are still going or not. Stay tuned...-S

Easy-moderately paced approx 3½ mi RT walking tour of old movie ranch owned by cowboy Crash Corrigan. See areas where movies and TV shows were filmed such as Fort Apache, The Robe, The Lone Ranger, Star Trek.

Meet 9:15am at Verdugo Hills rideshare point for carpool (Joslyn Center 1301 W Olive Ave, Burbank 91506 - park in back lot by Clark St). Others meet 10:00am at Corriganville (118 fwy west twd Simi Valley, exit Keuhner Dr, turn left/south, go just over one mile, turn left to Smith Rd - follow to end, enter parking lot on left side). This area is also known as Simi Valley Regional Park. Bring water, snack, sturdy walking shoes, hat, $ for optional lunch after.
