The power of Event Storming and Istio

Details

Welcome to our June's meetup!

This time we are going to introduce these terms intro your professional language, Event Storming and Istio:

  • Event Storming, a different methodology to build and define requirements and business logic, in a very graphical and practical way. For this time, though, this is a talk of about 40-60 minutes which presents you this methodology and motivate why it's important, trying to engaging you. This talk is brought to you by Jordi Pujol.

  • Istio: By the emergence and adoption of micro-services as application architecture, the scalability and resilence of our systems has been improved among many other advantages. But on the other hand, new challenges have come out. How to release different versions of our services, how to debug latencies between services requests or how to make secure the communication between them . As answer for that concerns a service mesh like Istio can be very helpful. This is a talk of about 45 minutes, brought to you by Fernando Ripoll.
