What we’re about

We have rebranded! We got more clarity on our mission and vision and are now re-introducing ourselves to the world.

This group is for women navigating separation and divorce who are looking for support, resources and connection.

Did you know:
- roughly 70% of divorces are initiated by women
- the financial implications of the in-between period often has a major impact on long term finances for women; this is the time between one person filing and the divorce being finalized (including the one year waiting period)
- the lack of affordable/accessible support often results in women settling for less because they feel emotionally defeated and want it over with
- On average women’s household income falls 41% post divorce

This needs to change.

Women need access to affordable expertise and consistent support, plus tools and strategies to change this.

Our Mission:
Guiding women through the complexities of divorce with empathy, expertise, and unwavering support to achieve better outcomes and future financial well being.

What do we do:
1. Monthly meetings (both virtual and in person) to connect, share experiences, offer support and build community. You are not alone!!

2. Free resources for navigating separation or divorce. This will include workshops, webinars, virtual and in person gatherings (Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver area).

3. Social opportunities. (In person) Offering invitations to things happening in and around your city to promote living a well balanced life, spark ⚡️ joy, and remind you that there is life outside of the hard parts of what you are navigating!

Who am I?
I am a divorce strategist and coach and the Founder of Smart Girls Divorce and on a mission to support people through one of the most challenging seasons many of us will face in life - separation and divorce!

I have personally navigated separation and divorce, mediation, custody, a high conflict divorce and continue to navigate post divorce life and co parenting. I have coached hundreds of women to a better way. I want to disrupt the divorce industry by creating resources and supports that make sense for you and your family, are cost effective and focused on the most important part - building your future.
