PLEASE NOTE: The RSVPs don't count for this event. Only people with a ticket are going. People are getting tickets from various places, including another similar local meetup group so don't make assumptions from the RSVP's here. The numbers will end up being about 10 men and 10 women. If it is too far from that it will be cancelled and tickets will be refunded. And this is not a "for-profit" event event though there is a cost. Producing this kind of event is very different from normal meetup events, even online events, for many reasons, and a small cost is necessary to make it work. Re my "guests" in the RSVP. Let's meet each other!
This will be an online speed dating event for people who live in the valley and are in their 40's to 60's. You don't need to think of it as a date. It's just a few minutes with each person of the opposite gender to see if there is an interest to connect again and maybe have a real date. After you meet you will secretly say yes or no if it seems like a match. If there are 2 Yeses you will be able to contact eachother later.

These events are fun and they are a very effective way of meeting people with a purpose.
