IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME (or It’s Been Awhile), HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT!
- Parking in the Market Square area will be very limited.
- Traffic will be heavy and slow-moving downtown, so plan to avoid driving through the area.
- Expect long lines for bathrooms and food in Market Square—plan accordingly!
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION TIPS:
- Consider parking a bit further away (about a 5-10 minute walk to Market Square).
- One option that has worked well in the past (4 minutes from Market Square) is Boulos Parking, Point State Park, 601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 .
- Park along a bus line and take public transportation downtown.
- Expect longer wait times and higher prices for rideshares like Uber/Lyft, especially after the fireworks.
We’ll do our best to post our location for those arriving later or stepping away, but smaller groups may split off during the night.
