OCT 2025 Meeting: "The Smashing Machine"

ANNOUNCEMENT:

This month's meeting is coming up in a few days! It’ll be this Saturday, October 11th. The showtime is at 4:40PM, and we’ll all meet at the Franklin Park Mall. I'll be in the food court, across from the Mango Thai. If you have trouble finding me, just shoot me a message and I’ll help get you to the group.

At 4:40, once everybody’s made it, we’ll head upstairs to the Cinemark theater to watch “The Smashing Machine”. This is a sports/drama film written and directed by Benny Safdie, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, and produced by A24. You will have to buy your own ticket if you're interested in coming. I can help anyone who needs assistance with buying tickets in the Cinemark app or at their kiosk.

After the movie’s over, we’ll meet back up outside the doors to Cinemark. Then we’ll head out to the Night Owl Diner where we’ll eat, discuss the movie, and socialize. Here are the addresses for the mall and diner:
