Tezos Hong Kong Meetup #1 - "STOs - tokenizing the world"

The first in a series of Meetups, our centerpiece will be an explanation of the STO. Tezos has seen recent success in the area of STOs due to the ability to do formal verification of smart contract transactions, and related security. SPEAKER BIO: DREY NG
Drey is the Chief Product Officer of Liquefy. He leads the product management of the company and makes strategic decisions with respect to user & market intelligence, business strategy, product development, analytics & growth and user experience design.

Drey Ng is also the Partner and Head of Research of BlackHorse Ventures (BHV), an investment arm focusing on Digital Security infrastructure. Prior to BHV, he was the Head of Research of Orichal Partners, one of the multi-strategy cryptocurrency investment and blockchain advisory firms in Asia. In these two roles, Drey led the blockchain project investments and collaborations with prominent projects such as Muzika, i-House Token and MagnaChain etc.

Before joining Orichal Partners, Drey worked at HSBC Global Markets and Deutsche Bank. In his role in HSBC, Drey advised Corporates on FX and rates solutions for their cashflow and hedging needs. He also worked at Asian & Local Large Corporate Trade Finance team in Deutsche Bank where he provided tailor-made financing solutions to conglomerates in China, Korea and Hong Kong.

Outside of work, Drey was also a part time STEM instructor in First Code Academy, a coding school for the next generation. He has also been invited to speak on blockchain and cryptocurrency at various events in the US, Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong etc. He is also a trainer of a blockchain course licensed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China.

Drey graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance and is awarded with the Machine Learning Certificate by Stanford University and Cousera. He is now pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science in the University of Hong Kong.
