The Future of Dating

Details

As anyone's who's been single recently knows, the dating landscape has changed. According to some statistics more relationships start online than offline now and that percentage is only getting higher.

Does online dating fundamentally change the way we look for and relate to one another? Do the fundamental changes we've already discussed--in technology, the economy, and other places--alter the nature of what we're looking for in a partner? Is it "romantic" to sift through potential mates the same way you'd find cheap airfare? And does "romance" even still matter any more?

Come join us as we discuss these issues as more. As always, there are a couple readings meant to spur thought and discussion under the pages/reading tab. Bring friends, family, or internet dates.

p.s. we're back to a Saturday day, so hopefully no live music this time.
