The blanket of darkness is at its longest and most challenging, then retreats with the first return of the season of light. The deep religious meanings found in the diverse cultures of humanity speak of this time in the most sacred symbols: danger, chaos, struggle, endurance and the birth of the future. New possibilities take form in this cold, dark mystery of winter and the surrender it demands in order to bring forth rebirth. Join us as we connect with the rich winter wisdom, rising as the human expression of the deeper ancient passage of Earth, born out of the womb of the universe and the Mystery from which it emerged.

Much of the celebration will take place out-of-doors, so dress appropriately. Also, please bring a dessert, beverage or snack to share after the celebration.
