Breathing Life in Data Visualizations with Axure
Details
We're collaborating with UXD Chicago to bring you our next event! If you're a member of both meetups, no need to RSVP twice.
----------------
Often times our stakeholders, whether external clients or internal product managers, work in problem spaces requiring visualizations of data. This presents unique opportunities for UX designers to create engaging dashboards, thus easing the consumption and understanding of information for end users.
Currently, many of us would lean on using visual tools, such as Photoshop or Sketch, to illustrate ideas on the topic. However, this presentation will try to break the misconception that Axure is incapable of rendering rich graphics.
During our time together, I will show you how to create reusable UI widgets (bar charts, pie charts, line charts, etc.), while adding interactive functionality for animating them.
This talk is aimed at helping novice to intermediate users learn some foundational basics of creating visualizations in Axure. Advanced topics, such as repeaters and integrating Javascript visualization libraries, will not be covered.
Bring your curiosity and questions, and let’s have a great time exploring another exciting facet of the Axure prototyping tool!
