Increase your VFX IQ with Ross Shain

Hey Guys! We're so excited to see everyone again for the next AE Meetup.

Academy Award-winning VFX artist and Mocha product designer, Ross Shain will share tips and advanced techniques to bring motion tracking and roto foundations into your After Effects workflow. Discover how 3rd party plugins Mocha Pro, Sapphire and Continuum can be used to streamline your workflow and increase your creative productivity.

Ross Shain is an accomplished visual effects artist and the chief product officer of Boris FX. In 2013, Ross was recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures with a Science and Engineering Academy Award for his work on the development and design of Mocha planar motion tracking software. With 20 years of creative and technical experience in the visual effects industry, Ross has held numerous responsibilities ranging from VFX Supervisor to Product Designer and worked with artists including Beastie Boys and the documentary filmmaker, Robert Stone.

The evening will look something like this:

7-7:30: Pizza and drinks available, guests arrive and sign in.
7:30-8: "Increase your VFX IQ with Ross Shain"
8-8:30: Members share works in progress
8:30-9: More pizza, beer and chat
