Meet Goodge St Station 11am

Fee £12

The west end is noted for its many associations with rocknrollers and here we go on a journey from Tottenham Court Road to Piccadilly to discover where Pink Floyd made their name, why Donovan liked Goodge St, where Elvis played in London (ok I'm talking Costello, not Presley!), a venue on the site of a pickle factory, punch ups with punks, Bowie’s friendship with the man who inspired Ziggy, the Stones’ first recording studio, where Jimi Hendrix got away with playing the Beatles, a famous doorman at a tiny rocknroll venue and …..oh there’s just so much and if that hasn’t whetted your appetite , well I don’t know what else to do!
