A feast for the eyes, probably one of the most beautiful tours visually that i do and certainly one that covers two of London's most wealthy areas - Mayfair & St James'.
The Georgian period gave us an explosion of beautiful architecture from the likes on Nash, Gibbs, Chambers & Robert Adam, to name but a few....
From wonderful Classical and Palladian style buildings to exquisite squares and one of the most wonderful exteriors of a grocery store - well it's a bit more than a grocery store! - this period also gave us some interesting and colourful characters .
One building alone has housed Anthony Armstrong-Jones, Bill Night, Lord Byron and Aldous Huxley to name but a few..........
A feast for the eyes not to be missed !!!
Please note that at traffic lights i will always wait for the green man signal- if there is one -and that at other crossings and on the streets generally attendees need to be vigilant.
