Greenwich to South Norwood Country Park walking along the Waterlink Way
Details
Come with me on an enjoyable walk with plenty to see.
We will meet in the The Gate Clock Pub {Wetherspoons} at 10.30 am for breakfast or 10.45 am for a hot drink.
{The Gate Clock is next to Cutty Sark DLR}
11.15 am we will walk to Creek Bridge in Greenwich, and start following the Waterlink way.
{Please bring a packed lunch and we will use the toilets at Sainsbury's}
After lunch we will make our way to South Norwood Country Park, where the walk ends.
We then can go for a well deserved drink in the William IV pub which is less than 10 minutes away or go to Elmers End Rail and Tram Station which is less then 5 minutes away.
It is recommended that you wear boots as we will be walking along river paths, that can get muddy. . If you walk slow or have a knee problem this walk is not for you.
{The walk is between 7-8 miles}
