River Wey walk, Walton to New Haw

This is a new walk led by John Harris, and time will be given for Photographs.

Come walk with us through Walton and Weybridge and then along the River Wey/Wey Navigation.

We will pass a tranquil lake, have a brief glimpse of the Thames, and then walk along the river/canal passing some stunning properties, finishing at the White Hart in New Haw., for lunch or bring our own.

Byfleet and New Haw station is less than 10 mins walk.

We will meet in The Ashley Park Tavern for tea/coffee opposite the entrance to platform 1 at Walton on Thames Station from 11.00.

£7 meet up fee required {please have the right change.}

From Waterloo at 10.42 to Walton on Thames. Other trains also go from Vauxhall, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. For those with a Freedom Pass or Oyster card, you will need to buy a return ticket from Surbiton to Byfleet and New Haw station.
