The Greenwich Fair is back!

Join me for an afternoon at the Greenwich Fair This is part of the Greenwich & Docklands festival and offers a whole afternoon of watching performances around beautiful Greenwich old town. We have seen brilliant dancing, acrobatics, and theatre there over the last few years and I suspect this year will be no different.

I usually devise a program to see as many performances as possible. This year all performances seem to be by the Observatory. That means a short walk up the hill.

There is a cafe there for refreshments but I am not sure if they will provide lunch/dinner options. Please therefore bring your own.

The last show at 6.15pm will be an amazing aerial performance.

We will meet at Cutty Sark DLR station at 12.30pm. I will be outside the station with a meetup sign, please look around for me as I suspect it will be busy. I am usually easy to spot though. Please note, that the DLR is not running, you will need to find other ways to get to Greenwich.

The event is free but the usual £1.50 group maintenance fee applies and is not refundable. Meetup also charges £0.60 on top of that. (If you are paying cash on the day, it’s £2.50).

Please only RSVP if you are intending to attend. Late cancellations and no-shows may get you removed from the group.

Also, please note that we will move on from the meeting point at 12.30pm and you may not be able to find us if you are late. Please therefore make sure you are on time.
