Shoreham Lavender Fields, Walk, Hob Farm & Winery

Join us for this beautiful countryside walk to see the Shoreham Lavender fields in full bloom. The walk will start at Eynsford train station where we will meet the London Victoria train or London Bridge train at 11:10am outside the station. We will walk from there along the Darenth valley via the famous lavender fields, to visit the Hop farm shop where you can buy some snacks and also lavender items and gifts.

This will be an approximate 3.5 hour easy walk and even though we will be walking slowly you will still have to be fit enough to do the walk. It is also important to wear appropriate shoes on this walk as we will be walking off road most of the time.

The walk will end in Shoreham were our last stop will be the local winery. We will have a glass of wine there and perhaps a pizza or plate of charcuterie if you fancy it. You can also buy their wines to take home if you like them.

We probably take a train back at about 5pm but it is better to buy an open return for the journey. The price is the same at just over £14 for the train ticket direct from Southeastern railways site. (Trainline is dearer).

Note due to engineering works trains will be running from London bridge instead, change at Swanley, or from London victoria, change at Bromley South.

We will be charging the usual non-refundable £1.50 maintenance fee for this walk.

We would appreciated it if you cancelled no later than 2 days before the event and to please avoid cancelling on the day as that may get your removed from the group.

Please note, that we will be leaving at 11:15am and it will not be possible to catch up with us once we are on the move, please therefore make sure you arrive on time in Eynsford.

Also, even though this is a country walk, dogs are not allowed on this walk. We need to consider those who are allergic to dogs and those who maybe scared never mind how friendly your dog is.
