Introduction to Ferop

We have a special treat this meetup. Will Smith will be flying in to give us a fun presentation! Will lives and writes F# in San Mateo, CA. He has been working on web and iOS clients for Tachyus.

Ferop is a library written in F# that allow developers to write inline C for their F#/C#/VB projects in Windows/Linux/OSX. The talk will discuss the motivation for creating such a library, how to get started and an example that uses OpenGL. Another project, Foom, will be shown as it uses Ferop. Foom in its current state, is a sandbox project for messing around with old video game data.
