About us
Welcome! This is a new group (launched February 2026) for 45+ people who want to enjoy great events and meet old and new friends in a relaxed, no-drama environment. It's run by experienced Meetup organizers. Check us out! No group fee due for the first three months and only $10 CAD/year after that.
Our organizers bring their knowledge and enthusiasm from hosting popular, successful events in various other meetup groups, including the usual fun things (dinners, coffees, movies, walks, games, book discussions) as well as the less typical, like dancing to live music, cooking lessons, scooter tours, midnight kayaking under the full moon, Whitecap watch parties, and happy hours at high-end venues.
A note on the group's annual fee: We very much appreciate if you choose to pay the annual fee promptly upon joining, but also completely understand that you might want to take some time to check out a few of our events first. You have three months to pay from the date you’re approved to join. Payment options are via e-mail transfer or cash (in person). You’ll receive info about where to send the e-transfer when you’re approved to join.

Marlie Collins and Bobby Bruce’s Nearly Neil at Harmony Arts Festival
Harmony Arts Festival, Argyle Avenue (between 14th and 16th Street), West Vancouver, BC, CAThis event is a 2For...
Marlie Collins goes on stage from 7:00 - 8:00 and then Bobby Bruce's Nearly Neil & the Solitary Band from 8:30 - 10:00You are welcome to come for one show or both.
Please Note:
Marlie Collins is on the Beedie West Stage, Millennium Park
Bobby Bruce's Nearly Neil & The Solitary Band is on the RE/MAX Garden East Stage, Millennium ParkI will do my best to save some space/seats, there are no guarantees though as it is not a super big venue. Look for us more towards the back of the crowd as it will be easier to hold space there. I'm aiming to be there for 6:00, anyone else who can come at that time and help save some space would be very helpful. When I was at the festival a couple years back, they did have some chairs, not near enough for everyone though. You can bring your own chair or take a chance of finding a seat, or of course there is the option to just dance the night away!
The festival has tons of artisan booths that are worth checking out. The venue is right on the water amongst parks and beaches, so you may want to make a day of it.
