West End Wanderings👣

Are you interested in Vancouver neighborhooods? Who lives there? Where are the iconic builings? Best coffee? Famous locals you might see in the street?

How about Vancouver's fabulous West End?

Come along to explore the area, and share you favourite spots too. I've lived in the West End for almost 2 years. There's always something new to discover in a space of just two square kilometres, but home to about 45,000 residents.

The forecast for Saturday is looking good! OK, not exactly warm yet, but no rain (we hope, but prepare for all Vancouver seasons!) so no better time for a steady stroll with stop-offs for snacks/coffee/lunch to keep everyone warm.

This will be a casual stroll, no rush, probably about 3ish hours, or until the last attendee has waved farewell! I will have a loose plan, subject to change based on preferences of those attending.

I'm going to keep this a small event with just 6 spaces as I have no desire to lead a tour group or look for poor lost souls down laneways :) Think of this as more of a few friends getting together for a casual day of exploration.

If popular I'll host it again during summer, and maybe others can suggest their neighbourhood too!

About the host: I'm originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand), where I met a Canadian who brought me back to Vancouver in 2018. Always keen to meet new people from diverse and interesting backgrounds!
