Poppy Painting and Messages of Remembrance along Veteran's Way

Join me at the cenotaph at Blue Mountain Park (cenotaph is on the east side of the park, on Porter St) to honour our veterans by painting a large poppy on the grass along Veteran’s Way as part of a temporary display. While there, write a message of remembrance and tie it to a tree with yellow ribbon. The messages are kept on the trees until November 14 at which point they will be transcribed and forwarded to Canadian veteran groups. Free parking available along Porter St or King Albert Ave.
