Dynamic Commentary in Power BI
Comments are chronically missing from Power BI dashboards and reports. However, if you manage to include dynamic commentary, your reports will become strikingly more understandable and actionable.

We will demonstrate 5 different methods of commenting in Power BI and provide step-by-step instructions on how to set up dynamic commentary that will react to filters and even allow users to write-back comments directly from a Power BI report.

Andrej Lapajne is the founder of Zebra BI, a Microsoft Data Platform MVP, and a founding member of the IBCS (International Business Communication Standards) Association. Andrej brings 20+ years of experience as a business intelligence consultant. He has helped numerous international companies across many industries achieve consistent and efficient reporting throughout the organization.

Track your Power BI environment
As we all have witnessed in the previous years, Power BI is widely used and its adoption continuous to grow. The footprint in enterprises normally starts with the usage of shared capacities but quickly evolves to premium capacities. If the evolution is not properly monitored and managed, a lot of waste will be produced and the cost of the Power BI platform will increase needlessly.

We will show a new solution to monitor the Power BI environment, facilitate the control of licensing cost and suggest improvements to keep the Power BI environment lean.

Good to know
We want this group to be a safe environment that encourages open discussion, exchange of ideas and problems you may face. Therefore, we kindly ask that no members will leverage the information for unsolicited acquisitions of new customers or projects. This group builds on trust, and without it we cannot learn from each other and excel on this topic.
