Portraits

In the drawing and painting area of the Visual Arts Brampton studio, artists work in various media from an extended pose. There is a rotation of 20 minute creative time and 5 minute breaks. The models are both professional and amateur and of various ages, genders and nationalities. Subjects are on a raised model platform with proper spotlighting to create three-dimensionality.

There is a half hour to 45 minute lunch break.

While there is no formal instruction, you can learn though osmosis by seeing and doing.

Drawing horses and boards are available at the studio. We recommend you come equipped with the medium of your choice (pencil, charcoal, conte, ink, paints etc. No solvent based oil paints, please).

Skill Level: Artists of all skill levels are welcome

$15 per session, $10 with VAB membership (CASH ONLY)
