Sunday Brunch at Claire's on the Oceanfront
Details
Claire's at the Museum Restaurant (http://www.lbma.org/cafe.html) is located on the beautifully landscaped campus of the Long Beach Museum of Art. The oceanfront dining area includes indoor seating in the Historic Anderson House or the outdoor patio that surrounds Claire Falkenstein's stunning water sculpture. The patio also features an unobstructed view of the Queen Mary and Catalina Island.

and the list goes on--for both breakfast and lunch.
After the brunch, Nina is suggesting the Art Museum (http://www.lbma.org/), adjacent to Claire's.
They can arrange a docent tour by request. (As in, if somebody requests it, I'll arrange it.) $7 Adults, $6 Students/Seniors (over age 62) current I.D. required After the Art Museum, at 3:00 p.m., I am hosting a 6-mile beach walk (https://www.meetup.com/At-The-PlayGround-LA/events/48111482/). Nina states that you can't see the link info, which is listed below:
Enjoy the view as we walk the cities of Long Beach to Belmont Shore, Naples, or Alamitos Bay--the LB Beach Strand.
I'm accustomed to starting at Bixby Park and heading west towards the Queen Mary (3.2 miles) or east towards Belmont Shore (2.5 miles), Naples (3.3 miles), or Alamitos Bay (4.9 miles). Depending on the group's preference, we can head east or west, do 2.5-10 miles. We can walk the whole thing and take the Passport (city bus) back or take one direction and take that same route back. Too many options? Trust, it'll narrow once we get there and know the weather, the group size, and feel the vibe of the group. The (6-mile) walk takes about 90 minutes (at my speed-lol).
