Cupcake Decorating and Tupperware Demo

Cupcakes….need I say more? The popularity of cupcakes are still at an all time high! It is still one of our top favorite little desserts. I wish my oven wasn’t on its last legs so I could bake these delicious cupcakes whenever I wanted to! I am terrible at decorating them. But luckily, our Tupperware sponsor, Susan, is opening up her home and big bag of decorating tools to have a cupcake decorating demo. I wonder if she can decorate a picture of young Brad Pitt onto a cupcake? Oh fine, I will settle for some pretty roses.
We will be decorating and possibly baking some cupcakes together. Susan will bake a bunch in advance so we will have some ready for decorating. Susan will also be showing us how to decorate and store these cupcakes with her cool Tupperware tools.
Since Susan will be providing all the cupcakes and accompanying fillings, frostings, and toppings, I am requesting that attendees bring a snack or appetizer to share (nothing too fancy). Here are some ideas:
Iced Tea, Other soft drink
Chips and dips, Salami, Cheese and Crackers, Hummus and Pita
Veggies, Fruit
Spiked punch, wine, bubbly, or other cocktail
P.S. I am being the food police here and recommending that you have a decent breakfast before attending this event. All these sweet cupcakes and possibly booze too, on an empty stomach, and we may have you bouncing off the ceilings!!! If you do that, I will take pictures of you and post them online!
