Muge Ersoy is the Engineering Manger for Spotify, having joined in March 2018 from her previous role as Head of Mobile for Schibsted Media Group. Inspired by Spotify’s inclusion policies and goals for diversity (that she learnt after speaking at a Women in Tech conference), she made the move and hasn’t looked back.

Muge has over 16 years Engineering experience, has worked at IBM, Cellcrypt, CISCO and more, holds a MS in IT and is a massive music fan. She’s played in amateur bands as a drummer and continues to fuel her passion in her day-to-day.

Spotify transformed music listening forever when it launched in Sweden in 2008. It’s now the world’s most popular music streaming service with a community of 217m active users, including 100m subscribers across 79 markets. They’re the largest driver of revenue to the music business today.
