May 2014 SCUG Meetup

Drupal 8. Want to learn what's in Drupal 8? Want a hands on experience? Want to get up to speed before going to DrupalCon Austin? (More on this later.)

We are all going to do a Drupal 8 installation and share our learnings. What's new? What's different? What's changed? How are we going to learn all of this?

No need to do anything before the meeting.

If you'd like to just come and watch others slosh around (and laugh), it should be entertaining.

Location. Sorry, we lost our game room. We're back at the Old Colorado City Library. A great location, but no foosball or beer.

Pre-meetup. BUT... If you'd like to have dinner and a beer, meet us at Thunder and Buttons at 5:30 on.

June meeting. The idea of this meeting came from the folks going to DrupalCon. They thought they had better touch Drupal 8 before going to see presentations on D8.

Everyone from our group going to DrupalCon will talk about the best (and possibly the worst) from DrupalCon Austin. This promises to be extremely valuable for anyone using Drupal.

We alternate between Tuesdays and Wednesdays. June's meeting is supposed to be Tuesday, June 10. However, we don't have a venue available on Tuesdays. If we can't find a venue available, we will meet at the library on Wednesday, June 11.
